Over the last year BDL has donated over 1000 native trees to New Zealand through the Trees that Count programme. As a locally owned family business, we are thrilled to have planted a forest load of native trees in just one year. We’ve upped our game with better waste minimisation practices and recycling too. Along with this we’ve converted more of our fleet to EV’s and have installed some more EV chargers. We could have made excuses why these things were too hard or too expensive for a business our size. We could have waited until things became more affordable – one day. But instead, we made it a priority and adjusted our business goals to make it happen. Simply because it matters to us.
